Reiss Physical Therapy & Rehab Accepts most major insurance plans. Please contact the office and we will be glad to verify your benefits.
We work with many insurance companies. As a courtesy, we will bill your insurance company on your behalf. We will verify your benefits prior to your receiving treatment and will let you know what your financial responsibility (if any) will be. You will ultimately be responsible for charges not covered by your insurance company such as annual deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance and unpaid charges not covered by your insurance company.
If your health care plan is not listed above, please contact our office and we will gladly verify your coverage and benefits.
If you are not currently insured, we will work with you on a cash basis.
Prescriptions/referrals for physical therapy
California insurance companies require that you have a prescription from a physician to be reimbursed for physical therapy. This prescription usually comes from an orthopaedic surgeon but can be obtained from any doctor such as your primary care physician. If you choose not to see a physician, but do have a diagnosis, we will treat you at a cash rate. Please keep in mind that if you choose this path we may request you see a physician at some point to rule out more severe or unusual causes of your symptoms and/or pain.
Direct Access was signed into law! This means that you may receive physical therapy treatment by a licensed physical therapist for a period of 45 days or 12 visits without a prescription from an MD. Click here for more information.
Reiss Physical Therapy & Rehab is an approved Medicare provider. Please note, in order to receive treatment at an outpatient clinic such as Reiss Physical Therapy & Rehab, you may not currently be under the care of home health services.
Reiss Physical Therapy & Rehab accepts workers' compensation injuries. In addition to having a referral from your physician, it will greatly expedite your care if you can provide us with as much information as possible regarding your worker's compensation carrier, your case manager, and any previous therapy that you have had to date on this injury.
HMO/Out Of Network
Unfortunately, Reiss Physical Therapy & Rehab is not contracted with any HMOs. However, if you have an HMO or an out of network plan please contact the office, we will be happy to work with you.
